The PSOE of Arrecife criticizes that Yonathan de León has prepared a calendar of "wild" parties from these days until the end of the year.
"The mayor of Arrecife is willing to destroy not only millions of euros of public money, and ruin the City Council and local commerce, but it seems that he also hates the residents of the capital's center, whose lives he is also ruining. And if what we have had of parties this year has not been enough, now de León is preparing a calendar of revelry only within the reach of the most party-goers", denounces Cristina Duque.
In a statement, they point out from the formation that "in the coming weeks, the center will host the Arrecife en Vivo, four weekends of concerts and parties. In the middle of this, the so-called eighties party is being prepared, occupying a new weekend. In addition, in the height of absurdity and mockery, the party in commemoration of the Beach Day is being prepared, without a doubt a date that Yonathan de León could not miss, to melt thousands of euros and leave people without sleep and, paradoxically, destroy a beach,” argues Duque.
"It continues with Halloween day, which of course, gives way to the beginning of the Christmas festivities, which, according to the government group, will become a spree at the level that only the Popular Party can reach", laments the socialist councilor.
"From the PSOE we do not understand what is the point of all this. Millions and millions of euros squandered in a permanent spree, and a mayor willing to confront people who get up to work early and who have small children, simply to ruin their lives, in favor of the cocktail and reggaeton", he adds.
Finally, the PSOE requests that the City Council develop "serious policies, the mayor of the city cannot become a kind of manager of an open-air party room”, says Cristina Duque.
