The Popular Party of Lanzarote has created a negotiating commission that will be in charge of discussing and closing possible governance agreements in institutions that do not have a sufficient majority for a stable government, as announced by its island president, Ástrid Pérez.

The negotiating commission of the Lanzarote PP is made up of the island coordinator, Kiko Aparicio, the president of the Electoral Committee, María Tovar and the deputy secretary of Communication, Juan Monzón.

After the elections of May 28, the institutions that have been left without an absolute majority and in which the popular ones can reach agreements are the city council of Arrecife, Teguise and the Cabildo. In Arrecife and Cabildo they add up with Coalición Canaria, while in Teguise they require a third force.
