The quality of Lanzarote's grapes has been internationally recognized for years and many exclusive palates have surrendered to the evidence of wines made using ancestral techniques, without forgetting the highest technology to achieve the best results. The last country to recognize the exquisiteness, in this case, of the northern grape has been Germany, the world's leading wine importing country.

It was in April when Bodega Malpaís de Máguez received an email request from Peter Erichsen, owner of the wine distribution company "Peters Weinlager". He wanted to visit the winery, after receiving first-hand information from some of his more than 1,500 customers in Flensburg (Hamburg), who had already entered the winery and discovered a delicacy worthy of being marketed in Germany.

After his visit and after verifying the quality of the product, this businessman made the first order. In August, the first bottles of La Grieta wine left for Flensburg, via Barcelona.

Media coverage in Germany

A few days ago, specifically on August 29, the German newspaper "Die Wochenschau" echoed the arrival in the country of this batch of wines from the north of Lanzarote, emphasizing the techniques used in its production and the quality of the Malvasia from this area of the island.

This support from the German press will undoubtedly help to achieve a greater and better positioning of Lanzarote wine and this winery in particular, considering that many of the readers of this newspaper already know or will soon know the island. In this way, they will join the visit to this winery to the other and infinite natural and tourist attractions of Lanzarote.
