The 59-year-old woman who disappeared on Sunday afternoon in Playa Blanca has been located at noon on Monday by the Local Police of Yaiza. Her relatives reported her disappearance when they found, on Sunday night, that she had not returned from her walk, which she used to take every day around the Pechiguera Lighthouse, near where she lived.
Officers of the Local Police began an intense search by land and beat the coast of Playa Blanca until finally, at about two o'clock on Monday afternoon, they found the woman, native of Soo, Teguise, in the surroundings of a hotel in the town. In total she has been missing for a day, but this Monday she was reunited with her family.
