The first edition of the "Innovation and Challenges Day; strategies for personal and professional success", organized this Friday by the Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Employment Area managed by Councilor Ascensión Toledo Hernández, has not disappointed. Hundreds of people have been able to enjoy a productive motivational and training day, aimed at providing useful tools to face the work challenges faced by each worker. It was not surprising that, due to the interest of the event proposed by Employment and the caliber of the presentations, the Institution's Assembly Hall was packed with the public during the several hours that the session lasted.
"When we have a job, the important thing is to keep it and also have that flexible capacity to face the future with new challenges," said Councilor Ascensión Toledo, who added: "Lanzarote is an island of opportunities and from the Island Corporation we show our commitment to young people in helping them in their training, transmitting that enthusiasm and attitude so that they can develop professionally according to their needs," the councilor stressed.
Ascensión Toledo has stressed the importance of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, in addition to continuing to successfully promote job creation, "in terms of training, just as we do in the area of professional qualification, it is important that we work to improve the attitudes of Lanzarote residents to overcome the work challenges that we face. The great speakers we have had today have helped us with this," he said.
The Island Councilor for Employment was accompanied during the day by the Councilor for Youth, Aroa Revelo, the coordinator of the New Employment Opportunities project, Raquel Díaz, and the director of the PFAE 'Technological Services', Alejandro Armas. Among the numerous public was the students of the New Employment Opportunities Lanzarote 2023/2024 Project (NOE), as well as the Training Programs in Alternation with Employment (PFAE), and the general public.
To all of them, Ascensión Toledo "thanked them for their attendance and invited them to continue participating in the proposals launched by her Area with the aim of promoting their personal and professional skills to access jobs or develop with satisfaction those they already have."
For her part, on this pioneering Innovation and Challenges Day; strategies for personal and professional success, Councilor Aroa Revelo has acknowledged being very satisfied, "because we have an Assembly Hall full of young people. We are very satisfied after listening to such motivating and exciting talks that help us to motivate ourselves more and better in the face of new challenges at work."
