Operators of the Road Conservation Service and technicians from the Public Works area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote have continued working throughout the morning of this Sunday to clean and condition the LZ-10 road in the section known as Malpaso, after the recent rains caused the detachment of stones of various sizes.

Thanks to the speed with which these works have been carried out, this road in the northern municipality has been able to be reopened to traffic, thus regaining normality.

From the Cabildo they point out that it is not the first time that landslides have occurred on this road, so next Tuesday a team of geologists will assess the current state of the road to intervene and definitively condition this road, thus guaranteeing the safety of drivers.
