The Official State Gazette (BOE) publishes this Friday the order of dismissal of Javier Sánchez-Simón as president of the Port Authority of Las Palmas. This has been dictated by the Minister of Development, José Blanco.
Blanco has also signed the new appointment of the socialist Luis Ibarra, who will now be in charge of directing this entity.
Luis Ibarra was elected regional deputy of the PSC-PSOE for Gran Canaria in the last regional elections and was previously Minister of Economy and Finance of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria.
