Rita Martín Pérez, candidate of the Popular Party for Mayor of Teguise, will be accompanied in her candidacy, for the next elections on May 22, by "a management team of men and women of enormous value and professionalism."
Thus, María José Costa, who was the island director of Health of Lanzarote, Héctor Pulido, director of Asolan and the engineer José Francisco Alemán, former director of Unelco in Lanzarote, among others, are some of the people who will accompany Rita Martín on the electoral list. "This is a very complete list, where youth, experience, professionalism, rigor, management capacity and commitment are perfectly combined," said the PP candidate for mayor of Teguise.
Thus, after Rita Martín, the following are in the candidacy for the Teguise City Council: Jorge Quintero Guzmán, María José Costa Antúnez, Roger Patrick Deign, Jonay Díaz Betancort, Antonia Belén Suárez, Manuel Victoriano Hernández, Héctor Jaime Pulido, Olga Tavío León, José Manuel García, Francisca Suárez González, José Francisco Alemán, Jesús Esquinas López, José Dapena Pérez, Leticia Suárez González, Fernando Figuereo Force, Regina Marcinkiewicoz, Fernando Jesús Franco, Isabel Caballero Madera, Djek Durgen Deign and Oswaldo Aquilino Tavío. As alternates to the PP candidacy in Teguise are Antonia María Ángeles León, Antonio Hurtado Silva and Domingo Cerpa Lugo.
Dynamize the municipality
The main objectives that the members of the popular candidacy for Teguise have set are the modernization and dynamization of the municipality. For Rita Martín, "the governability of Teguise must be based on three pillars: the modernization of the municipality and the public administration, the management and collaboration between institutions and, finally, the dynamization of the municipality through different districts."
"We must promote all those opportunities that Teguise offers us, such as its wide coast, its historical and administrative center, as well as the rural, industrial, commercial or educational Teguise, explained Martín, who stated that "to lay the foundations for all this, the approval of the Teguise Municipal Ordinance Plan is absolutely a priority.
