The Executive Committee of PSOE Canarias approved this Monday afternoon its proposal of five names for the Dependent Bodies of the Parliament with 37 votes in favor, two abstentions and none against, among which is the one of Luis Fajardo Spínola from Lanzarote to repeat in the Advisory Council.

Fajardo Spínola was born in Lanzarote and holds a Doctorate in Law. He is currently a member of the Advisory Council and has also been a Deputy in the Courts and in the Parliament of the Canary Islands.

The socialist proposal for the Dependent Bodies of the Parliament is completed with Rafael Yanes Mesa for the Deputy of the Common; and Elena María Hernández, currently working in the same position, and Gervasio Rodríguez for the Court of Auditors. The PSOE reserves the assistant to the Deputy of the Common for Equality, "which will be represented by a woman and her appointment will be when appropriate", the party says in a statement.

The PSOE Executive Committee wanted to thank Jerónimo Saavedra and his team in the Deputy of the Common for the work done during these five years, as well as Alejandro Brito and Oscar Bosch "for their dedication and rigor within the Advisory Council." It also had "a very special memory of Juan Carlos Alemán, who did an impeccable job throughout his career in the Court of Auditors."
