Podemos asks for more resources to celebrate the fights "safely"

The Podemos Parliamentary Group will ask the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Canary Islands about the events that occurred last weekend, during the youth final of the Pancho Camurria Tournament, when a fighter needed medical assistance "and there was neither a doctor nor an ambulance nor police", says Deputy Paco Déniz.

Déniz points out that it is necessary for the fights to have this type of services "to avoid situations like those experienced in that tournament, in Valle Guerra", and points to the Government of the Canary Islands as responsible for "facilitating that these are developed with all the relevant security measures".

The Podemos deputy states that he has presented several initiatives in the Parliament of the Canary Islands to "dignify" the Canarian Wrestling, but regrets that the Canarian Coalition and the Socialist Party have not accepted any. For this reason, Déniz asks "to put aside partisanship and let's all work for our vernacular sport".
