Oscar Torres resigns as councilor of the Arrecife City Council due to the "serious internal problems" of his party

He has been the first to resign in the midst of the crisis of the Local Group of the PSOE of Arrecife. A resignation that adds to the dissolution of the Local Executive, which became effective last week by mandate of the Federal leadership of the party. The Councilor for Education of the Arrecife City Council, [Oscar->http://oscars-awards.com] Torres, has stated "against the forms that have been carried out in the PSOE, giving rise to serious internal problems that affect, above all, the militancy and society."

Oscar Torres considers that the situation "has affected the illusion, motivation, their desire to work and their health", so he has made his councilor's act available to the Party, although he will continue with his militancy.

The until now Councilor for Culture has wielded reasons of "political and personal dignity", and assures that his resignation is "irrevocable". In principle, Víctor San Ginés will take over the position, who is next on the list, a member of the Island Executive and who in turn voted in favor of the creation of the Management Committee. For the moment, he has stated that he does not "have any inconvenience in joining the formation". On the other hand, the secretary of the island socialists, Manuel Fajardo, has stated that he "understands the decision" of Óscar Torres.
