One of the evicted residents of the Titerroy neighborhood, who has been waiting for her promised home for more than a decade, took the floor this Friday at the Arrecife Plenary, where she expressed her indignation.
“They have had us like this for 13 years. This is already laughing at one right and wrong”, she denounced, charging against all the parties that have governed in recent years.
“I don't know how they manage things. When they are in the opposition, everyone offers solutions”, she questioned. “I think they have made fun of us enough, a lot”, she sentenced.
In addition, this neighbor has related the drama she has been suffering since that eviction occurred due to the risk of collapse of the homes, with the promise of providing them with a temporary rental and a new home, which has not yet arrived.
“I used to be a chubby person, and with the suffering and bitterness I've been reduced to a shell. I keep losing kilos because I don't see a solution to the house issue, neither for me nor for my neighborhood colleagues”, she laments.
