The National Police has identified a woman who was recorded trying to break several cars in Arrecife, after citizens reported the events to the police force. And it is that, at least neighbors of the Titerroy neighborhood claim to have been living "many difficult situations" with this woman for "a year and a half", who has not only broken cars, but they also say that "she throws stones at the windows of the houses" and has "bad behaviors".
According to an affected person who reported the events to the National Police, this woman is a homeless person who lives "in an old juvenile center on Calle Andalucía" and who "used to go with a cart" through Arrecife. "And the poor woman is doing badly. It's not that she's a bad person, it's that she's sick and needs treatment," one of the complainants told La Voz, who assures that the neighbors are "desperate." "Generation of garbage, excrement, bad behavior with neighbors and insults" are other facts that citizens claim to endure.
In one of the videos that is circulating on social networks and to which La Voz has had access, it is seen how the woman tries to break the rearview mirror of a car without stopping in her effort, despite the fact that several neighbors reproach her attitude. And immediately afterwards, in an obscene gesture, she takes her hand to her genitals. These events, according to one of the victims, took place on Sunday, May 6, and before that, the woman broke a window of a building, of which she also broke the door four days later. "And the week before she broke the mailbox," said this affected woman, who claims that the woman also "runs naked up and down the street."
The woman was also recorded at the Valterra gas station hitting a vehicle that was parked at the door. In the images, one of the employees of the service station is seen intervening, preventing the event from escalating.
The National Police have confirmed to La Voz that after several complaints against this woman for different events, she has already been identified and they have been brought to the attention of the Courts of Arrecife.
