The first advance of participation in the elections of this 28M reflects a slight increase of just over one and a half points in Lanzarote compared to the last elections. On that occasion, until 1 p.m., 21.62% of the census had voted, while this Sunday it has stood at 22.19%.

By municipalities, the earliest riser has been Tinajo, which until 1 p.m. had already registered a participation of 30.54%. It is followed by Haría (30.39%), San Bartolomé (23.87%), Teguise (23.04%) Tías (22.63%) and Yaiza (20.42%). Finally, at the bottom is Arrecife, where only 19.75% of the census had participated.

The data are thus again well below the average of the rest of Spain and the Canary Islands. In the case of the province of Las Palmas, participation until that time has been 25.03% (just over one point above that of 2019), and in the archipelago as a whole 26.19%, which is 2.86 more than four years ago.

As for the country's average, the first advance of participation leaves a figure of 36.6%, which reflects 1.5 points more than in 2019, although in this case it must be taken into account that the polling stations have been open for one hour more.
