More than 40 members and public officials of the Canarian Coalition (CC) of Lanzarote participate this Saturday in the general convention of the party under the slogan "Feel the Canary Islands" in order to approve a political manifesto that will form part of the basis of the CC electoral program for the next municipal and regional elections. The Lanzarote participants will talk about social policies and tourism.

The national convention of public officials and national organic officials will take place in the Tenerife Auditorium starting at 11 a.m. and is expected to concentrate about 1,500 people. The mayor of Santa Cruz, Miguel Zerolo, will welcome the attendees and give way to the presentation of the political manifesto by the vice president of the Government of the Canary Islands, María del Mar Julios.

The president of the Government of the Canary Islands, Adán Martín, will offer attendees a balance of the achievements of the three years of the legislature and will give way to the representatives of each island plus Venezuela, who will dedicate their interventions to sectoral issues related to the manifesto, such as citizen participation, immigration, housing, health or Statute of Autonomy. The closing will be given by the president of CC, Paulino Rivero.
