The municipal group of Lanzarote En Pie (LEP) in the Arrecife City Council announces that it will propose the creation of "a virtual citizen service office in the Arrecife City Council". The formation ensures that this would "alleviate the consumption of resources destined to solve situations in person", which could be resolved through the application of the tools offered by new technologies "for interaction from the local administration".
"The Arrecife City Council has been stuck for a long time in terms of attention and agile response to information requests from citizens, so it is necessary to search for tools and systems that improve the relationship between the administration and citizens," explained the spokesperson, Leticia Padilla.
From LEP they consider that the creation of a virtual citizen service office "would complement the electronic headquarters of the consistory" given that, according to them, through a simple search engine, "it could speed up the response time of the local administration to the service users regarding questions or requests for first-level information".
Likewise, Padilla explained that "it could be a guide for those who need to know the processing procedures, where to go and what documentation to present or monitor the status of their application, among other procedures".
