The Agrosfera program of La 2 de Televisión Española will broadcast this Saturday, September 25, starting at 8:40 a.m. a report about Teguise, according to the Councilor for Tourism and Culture of the City Council, Rita Hernández. This report will be repeated on Monday the 27th starting at 1:40 p.m. on Canal 24 horas. This same broadcast of about 10 minutes can also be seen on the website www.rtve.es.
As Rita Hernández explained, the report disseminates the cultural and historical excellences of La Villa de Teguise, the agricultural wealth, and different special landscapes such as the Plaza de los Leones or Famara beach.
Agrosfera is a space directed by Paz Cámara, who presents it together with Sergio Gómez. The objective is to bring the agricultural and fishing news closer to the general population and the productive sectors in particular from the regional, state and European spheres. "It is a showcase for society to spread the reality of the rural world," Hernández indicated.
At the time, the team chose the municipality of Teguise because it met all the requirements they were looking for: traditional architecture, crafts, quality gastronomy, and history.
