The Cabildo of Lanzarote met on March 28 with the councilors and technicians of the seven municipalities of the Island with the purpose of "dialoguing and agreeing on coordination between institutions in matters of energy and electric mobility."
From the Corporation they point out that this collaboration aims to "carry out similar actions in the development of sustainable energy or mobility projects in the seven municipalities of Lanzarote."
In this sense, the Councilor of the Area, Ariagona González, stressed the importance of "holding meetings like these to advance the development of island projects related to the use of renewable energies and the sustainable management of Lanzarote."
"It is essential to maintain dialogue and coordination between institutions to establish homogeneous criteria that facilitate the implementation of clean energy in municipalities and promote the transformation of Lanzarote towards a new, more sustainable energy model," he added.
The meeting between councils and the island councilor allowed the Cabildo to show its intention to "motivate the development of new actions that increase energy saving and efficiency measures in facilities and movable property in Lanzarote."
