Intersindical Canaria has once again filed a claim to the budget of the Island Council of Lanzarote, as the "remuneration concepts owed to the workers of the Insular Hospital" are not included in the accounts for this 2017, such as the Professional Career, Incentives and additional payments that are included in their agreement. Thus, it points out that "they still have not executed the agreement of May 21, 2015", which establishes the incorporation in chapter I of the same.
From Intersindical they assure that "there is a great incongruity in the Socialist Party, since, on the one hand, a resolution of the PSOE is approved in the Parliament of the Canary Islands that the professional career be paid, among other things, and on the other hand, the PSOE in the Cabildo of Lanzarote ignores its own party and continues to be the puppets in the hands of Coalición Canaria, dismissing the claims and ignoring the agreements that they themselves voted in favor in 2015".
That is why the union requests "some coherence from the PSOE" and asks it to vote in favor of the claims, "as it already did in 2015", although later, "after entering the government group, it forgot about that vote and began the symbiosis with Coalición Canaria".
"They continue to privatize services"
On the other hand, Intersindical denounces that "they continue without stabilizing the staff and continue to privatize services, since in these budgets they are once again amortizing positions in group D, the same parties that later go out into the street shouting in favor of public health".
"Both the PSOE and CC continue to lie to the workers and the citizens. Let us not forget that the president of the Cabildo himself has publicly acknowledged that he knows that the workers have to collect those concepts, but they still do not budget for them", they add.
Given this situation, on March 30, the day of the plenary session where the budgets are going to be approved, the workers will concentrate at the door of the Cabildo. "We ask again for support from the citizens, from the population, let us not forget that the Insular Hospital belongs to all the citizens of Lanzarote", they emphasize from the organization.
