The Government of the Canary Islands has agreed this Thursday to continue with the "de-escalation" of the restrictions applied to contain the pandemic caused by Covid-19 and has decided to eliminate the capacity restriction.
The agreement affects general capacity, both in outdoor and indoor spaces, and those of cultural and sports activities, which is established in all cases at 100% in the islands that are at alert level 1, 2 and 3. This means that the measure will be applied throughout the archipelago, since this Thursday it has also been agreed to remove Gran Canaria from level 4.
As for Lanzarote and La Graciosa, they will continue for one more week at level 2, while all the other islands are at level 3.
The new rule regarding capacity will be in force between 00.00 hours on March 7 and 24.00 hours on April 30, with the possibility of approving a new extension.
