Easyjet launches two new routes between Madrid and Fuerteventura and Lanzarote

EasyJet puts on sale today three new routes from Madrid airport: Lisbon, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. With the arrival of these three new destinations, the European airline already has 26 destinations from Barajas airport, reinforcing its leadership among the low cost companies that operate in the Madrid airport.

The landing of easyJet in Fuerteventura and Lanzarote means the arrival of the first two low cost connections between Madrid and the Canary Islands. The two flights will start flying with a starting price from 18.99 euros per trip (all inclusive) which will mean a saving of more than 100% compared to the current rates of traditional companies that serve these routes.

With the launch of these two new routes, the company expects an exponential increase in tourism in Fuerteventura and Lanzarote attracted by the low rates so far non-existent in the connection of the Islands with Madrid. On the other hand, the airline is confident of reaching a significant volume of reservations from the side of the Canary Islands as many passengers, both tourists and business, who were waiting for the arrival of low cost to the Canary Islands have stated.

All routes will start operating from the month of November, coinciding with the beginning of the winter season. Specifically, the destinations of Lisbon and Lanzarote will be inaugurated on November 1, while the first plane to Fuerteventura will take off on November 3.
