Dimas Martín kept many interesting documents in his cell at the Tahíche penitentiary center. In the search carried out by the Civil Guard on May 28 at this place, the agents found the budgets of the Cabildo for the year 2009, information on the public company Inalsa and the agreement between the first institution of the island and the Teguise City Council regarding a cheese production company.

In addition, they found letters addressed to public officials, where Dimas addressed the solution of different issues related to Lanzarote, according to the summary of Operation "Unión".

This police work also extended to the PIL leader's own home, where they even found a letter in which Dimas commented on the problems that exist in Lanzarote with the illegal hotels in Yaiza, an urban planning report on this matter, and an agreement with Juan Francisco Rosa, as indicated in the summary.

In addition, according to the UCO, documents were found that "show" that Dimas "continues to lead the PIL". They also found a receipt for a cash deposit of 60,000 euros at the Banco Santander office.

Documents from the Arrecife City Council

The Civil Guard also discovered the budgets of cleaning companies for the Arrecife City Council, and several documents on the City Councils of Teguise, Yaiza and Arrecife. Specifically, on the capital of Lanzarote, the UCO found the preliminary draft of the Neighborhood Plan, as well as a letter from the PIL councilor José Miguel Rodríguez in which he asks Dimas for the name of the company that should carry out a demolition in a street in Arrecife. It should be remembered that Dimas Martín has nothing to do with the Arrecife City Council and does not hold any position within the council.

But that is not all. The UCO agents also found a letter addressed to his son, the councilor Fabián Martín, in which he tells him how to pressure Coalición Canaria and how to agree on a resolution with the PSOE. In addition, the PIL leader is also interested in various companies.

Finally, the Civil Guard carried out another search in an apartment owned by Inalsa, located in the Los Molinos urbanization, in Costa Teguise, where they found a binder with documents related to the General Urban Planning Plan (PGOU) of Arrecife that, according to testified Dimas Martín, "he himself took the folder to that place".
