Ciudadanos (Cs) has urged this Monday the municipal government of the Yaiza City Council (United for Yaiza-Lanzarote Avanza and Canary Coalition) to demand speed from the Cabildo de Lanzarote to launch the conditioning works of the access road to the Papagayo beaches.
In this regard, the municipal spokesperson for Cs in the Consistory, Francisco Ramón, recalled that "at the beginning of July, the island corporation promised to repair said road." However, he states that "to this day the improvement works have not yet begun," so he considers that "it is essential that the municipal government demand that they be launched as soon as possible."
"This dirt road is in a deplorable and very deteriorated state, a situation that harms all residents and tourists who visit these Yaiza beaches daily," Ramón denounced.
Therefore, and because Ciudadanos believes that "it must be guaranteed that visitors have a pleasant visit and experience", he has asked both corporations for "responsibility so that the Papagayo beaches have a decent access road."
