The Waste Councilor of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Hugo Delgado, committed this Wednesday with the councilor of Teguise and delegate of La Graciosa, Alicia Páez, to study possible improvements that allow to "enhance the efficiency" of the waste transfer plant of the eighth island.

This was announced at the end of the meeting that both held during the morning, to learn firsthand the main demands of La Graciosa in terms of recycling and waste.

The councilor highlighted the “good coordination with the delegate when putting on the table the problems and requests of La Graciosa” and highlighted the "will of the Island Council to assess actions that help to renew and modernize the waste transfer plant as soon as possible.”

“It is essential for the commitment that the Corporation has with the environment, sustainability and recycling, that the island of La Graciosa also has the best resources that make it possible and, from the Cabildo of Lanzarote, we will work for it”, concluded Hugo Delgado.
