Correos has responded to the San Bartolomé City Council, assuring that it is providing its services "normally".
Thus, it denies what was stated by the mayor of the municipality, Alexis Tejera, who last week expressed his concern "about delays and breaches in notification deadlines, among others, that the neighborhood is suffering". Likewise, in a meeting with the union representative of CCOO, Thais Murillo, she raised the possibility that Correos would proceed to reduce the staff in the municipality.
In this regard, Correos assures that it is "guaranteeing delivery within the agreed deadlines for each product." It also points out that, as a public company, "it has the obligation to efficiently allocate its resources, adapting them to its staff, to the level of real activity and always maintaining the quality of the service it provides to all citizens."
