Correos has remodeled its facilities in the town of Puerto del Carmen, in Tías. The building has three levels and is distributed in the public service area, the mailroom, the parcel area and loading dock, where correspondence and a large number of packages are received every morning. All its dependencies have been improved with an investment of about 400,000 euros.
The Tías City Council has expressed its satisfaction with the renovation of the Correos office in Puerto del Carmen, whose facilities have been renovated throughout the building, which occupies an approximate area of 400 square meters and has been in operation since 1994.
The mayor, José Juan Cruz, and the second deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, visited the facilities this Tuesday and congratulated the branch director, Juan Rodríguez, and his workers, "for the public service they provide and for the diversification of their services carried out in recent years."
