Colonel Rafael de Haro takes office as head of the Lanzarote military airfield

Several civil and military authorities attended the ceremony, such as the head general of the Canary Islands Air Command, Francisco Javier Vidal, who presided over it.

This Thursday, July 13, the inauguration of the new Chief of the Lanzarote Military Airfield and Military Air Commander of the Lanzarote Airport, Colonel Rafael de Haro Ros, took place, replacing Colonel José Vicente Teruel Sánchez, who has held these positions since the summer of 2021.

The event took place in the morning at 11:00 a.m., and was attended by different military and civil authorities, including the Head General of the Canary Islands Air Command, Francisco Javier Vidal Fernández.

The Vice President of the Cabildo, Jacobo Medina, took advantage of the act to congratulate, on behalf of the entire Corporation, the new Chief of the Military Airfield, making the Institution available for any collaboration of interest in the island area.

An appointment that was presided over by the head general of the Canary Islands Air Command, Francisco Javier Vidal Fernández. The ceremony also included the presence of various civil and military authorities of the Archipelago, among which it is worth mentioning the Government Delegate in the Canary Islands, and the Vice President of the Cabildo, Jacobo Medina, the mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, the one of Tías, José Juan Cruz Saavedra and the one of Arrecife, Yonathan de León.
