The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, signed this Friday morning a collaboration agreement on Human Resources with the mayor of the Arrecife City Council, Ástrid Pérez, so that both public administrations can use, reciprocally, the reserve lists of public employees and thus respond to the needs of the different departments of both institutions.
This agreement, recently signed with other municipalities on the island, will allow, for the next two years, both the first Corporation and the councils to provide each other with the reserve lists of the professional categories they have at any time for their hiring, whether interim or temporary employment, by the entity that requires it. The acceptance of calls made at the request of the administration other than the one forming the list will be totally voluntary, so non-acceptance will not imply any damage to public employees.
Both the president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, and the mayor of Arrecife, Ástrid Pérez, have highlighted “the importance of inter-administrative cooperation to improve the management of public services and make them more efficient.”
Thanks to this agreement, the “participation of public personnel in the different Continuous Training actions that are launched will also be promoted to guarantee the professionalization of employees in order to continue improving the service provided to citizens every day,” Corujo concluded.
