The Arrecife City Council has inaugurated new sports equipment on El Reducto beach, to try to make it "more visited by residents, as it is by tourists."
Jointly, the Departments of Sports, and Beach and Environment, led respectively by Davinia Déniz, and Eli Merino, have recently concluded the installation of goals and nets to play football and volleyball, on one side of El Reducto. Nearby is located the so-called Theme Park where the City Council has planned a significant public investment for its modernization.
Yonathan de León together with the councilors of his Government Group, Davinia Déniz and Eli Merino, have visited El Reducto beach and have supervised these new facilities, where the Arrecife City Council has had the authorization of Coasts.
The mayor is pleased with the new life that El Reducto beach is having where many residents come to enjoy their free time, or practice physical exercise in addition to the bathing areas. Many tourists who stay in nearby hotels make permanent use of this beach, where the City Council has invested in recent times in improving accessibility and public facilities, allowing the Blue Flag to fly.
Eli Merino, as Councilor for Sports, and head of the Department of Tourism and Commerce, highlights that offering good facilities on the beach makes it possible for tourist establishments in the capital to offer it as one of the attractions of Arrecife as a destination.
Afternoon of yoga and meditation on El Reducto beach
Similarly, the Councilor for Beaches and Environment, Davinia Déniz, has set out with her team to develop throughout this term multiple activities that have the beaches of Arrecife as the epicenter of the dynamization and enjoyment of the beach coastline by the whole family. For this Friday, April 19, coinciding with sunset, she has organized an afternoon of meditation and yoga on this beach of El Reducto
