The Department of Animal Welfare of the Arrecife City Council, led by Jacobo Lemes, has begun to execute a remodeling plan for the dog park located in the Theme Park of the capital.
The works, which are already underway, include the complete renovation of the fencing and gates, the performance of intensive cleaning and disinfection work, and the installation of new drinking fountains to ensure the well-being of the pets that frequent the premises.
Jacobo Lemes has highlighted the importance of these improvements, pointing out that "we are aware that the dog park is a space widely used by the residents of Arrecife, and we want it to be a safe and pleasant place for both pets and their owners. For this reason, we have launched this intervention that seeks to guarantee better conditions for all."
Lemes also stressed that "regular cleaning and disinfection of this type of space is essential to prevent the spread of diseases and ensure that our pets enjoy a healthy environment. With the renovation of the fencing and the installation of new drinking fountains, we hope to meet the expectations of users and improve the experience in the dog park."
The Department of Animal Welfare will continue to monitor the condition of the spaces dedicated to animals in Arrecife, with the commitment to continue promoting actions that favor their good maintenance and responsible use.
