The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, accompanied by councilors Víctor Robayna and Famara González, were received this Friday by the president of the César Manrique Foundation, José Juan Ramírez, at the Haría museum house.
During the visit, the northern councilors were able to learn from the president of the Foundation not only what the singularities of the museum house are, but also what is the line of work they are developing in this space to keep the thought of César Mánrique alive.
"I wanted to make my first institutional visit to the César Manrique museum house because it is essential that we begin to establish joint lines of work that result in the progress and sustainable development of the municipality, especially in this year in which the centenary of the birth of César Manrique is celebrated," said the northern mayor Alfredo Villalba. "For this reason, we have asked the Foundation to count on the people of Haría when planning the activities to be carried out during this year."
It should be remembered that the Haría City Council declared César Manrique Adopted Son, posthumously, in August 2013.
