The cleaning services of schools in Arrecife, Tías and Teguise have given a strike notice, given the delay in the payment of workers' salaries, which has been occurring for several months, according to the general secretary of UGT, César Reyes.
In this way, they had given a deadline until 12:00 noon this Thursday and, if the payroll was not paid, they would begin a strike in the schools of these three municipalities. After the deadline set by the workers, the salaries had not yet been paid.
The delays in payments, according to the general secretary of UGT, have been occurring for several months, with the payroll being paid after calling the corresponding strike notices.
