The young people of the Alentando project, from the Aporta Association, have been fascinated by the sea and the stars. The Sea Starlight Canarias project organized a talk for the students of IES Blas Cabrera Felipe, in Marina Lanzarote, last Thursday, May 9.
The main objective of this initiative is to bring "a little closer" the secrets of the sea and the stars. Sea Starlight Canarias has organized this event for the boys of the Alentando project.
The ancient navigation talk was given by the coordinator of Sea Starlingt Canarias, Óscar Pinedo, from Academia Náutica Lanzarote. This presentation included a theoretical part and a practical application: observing the stars thanks to the telescopes provided by the organization.
Gustavo Muler from Astronomía Lanzarote participated in the practical part. The ancient navigation talk was given by the coordinator of Sea Starlingt Canarias, Óscar Pinedo, from Academia Náutica Lanzarote.

In Pinedo's words, "from Sea Starlight we feel super proud to be able to participate in this type of activities and to bring the fascinating binomial formed by the sea and the stars closer to the youngest". Thus, he pointed out that we have verified with enormous satisfaction that they are interested in this specific topic.
This activity is part of the social plan of the project Sea Starlight United by the sea twinned by the stars, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience plan of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism.
