Canal Gestión, the company in charge of water management in Lanzarote, has announced several water cuts in different locations on the island. This has been reported through its website.
Specifically, the affected area in the northern municipality is the Vista La Vega neighborhood in the municipality of Haría. In addition, there are also the towns of Los Roferos, Peña de los Pastores in Mancha Blanca, Liria in La Vegueta, El Cuchillo and Avenida de Los Volcanes. Meanwhile, in the municipality of Tías, the water supply is also suspended in La Asomada and Güime.
The company has reported that these cases are due to "incidents in the process of being resolved, which may be caused by actual breakdowns or low levels of storage deposits." Canal Gestión has also added that if domestic supplies are close to these points, they are "probably affected by the eventual interruption."
