The Titerroy Neighborhood Association has denounced the "poor condition" of the palm trees in the neighborhood. According to the group, residents of La Pinta street say that they are "rotten" and that "they are causing incidents such as them falling on houses and cars."

"The palm trees throughout the neighborhood are rotten and are starting to fall. The neighbors fear that when the wind blows a lot they may fall," says the neighborhood group.

Likewise, it affirms that the same neighbors also denounce that "they are an accumulation of cockroaches and rats" and that there are leaves that "almost enter through the windows of the houses". "For the neighbors, being able to have the windows and doors open in summer is very difficult, due to the poor maintenance of said palm trees," says the Titerroy Neighborhood Association.

In this regard, it denounces the "great municipal neglect", affirming that "no one controls" the company in charge of maintaining the palm trees, "which charges a million dollars of municipal money."

Faced with all this, the neighborhood group has sent a letter to the mayor of Arrecife, Ástrid Pérez, so that she is "informed" of the situation.
