The Titerroy neighborhood association has requested a meeting with the commissioner of the National Police, Federico Teodoro Pérez, after receiving "multiple complaints" from citizens of the neighborhood about their children, who "are threatened by their classmates when leaving the institutes." In addition, the association recalls the violent videos that have been spread through social networks, for which they also request this meeting.
In recent weeks, several videos have been published on the Internet. In one of them, two minors are seen attacking another at the gates of IES Arrecife, while in the other a minor is seen brutally hitting another in Titerroy.
From this neighborhood they have denounced the lack of presence of the National Police at the exit of schools and have lamented that the violent videos recorded at the gates of several schools in the capital have been disseminated nationwide, where they have echoed "the lawsuits" of Arrecife.
The residents of Titerroy also plan to request a meeting with the Government delegation in the Canary Islands to provide the National Police with more personnel in the city of Arrecife.
