Active cases on the island rise to eleven after another three immigrants from the boat that arrived on the island on July 8 tested positive. In total, nine people who arrived on that boat have coronavirus, five of them for the second time in the samples taken. Added to these people is the passenger who arrived from Mexico infected and an English tourist who has tested positive this Saturday.

Lanzarote has accumulated 99 cases of coronavirus since the health crisis began.

The early detection and tracking system for positive cases of COVID-19 has become the best asset for controlling the pandemic after the arrival of the new normal.
