The attraction of Puerto del Carmen for diving will be reflected in several specialized European publications. Last week, three German journalists had the opportunity to discover the beauty of the seabed of the coast of the municipality of Tías, as reported by the City Council.
These are Marc Hillesheim, from the quarterly magazine Atlantis, with an average circulation of 17,000 copies in Germany, Switzerland and Austria; Rolf Eichinger, from the monthly publication Unterwasser, with an average circulation of 28,684 copies and 13,559 subscribers; and Frank Schneider, from the monthly magazine Tauchen, the largest circulation in Europe with 35,021 copies and 15,734 subscribers.
The three journalists dived in Playa Chica guided by the president of the Association of Diving Clubs of Lanzarote and director of the Timanfaya Sub diving center, Jorge Ceballos. The City Council of Tías has thanked Ceballos for "promoting the excellences and magnificent conditions that the coast of the municipality of Tías offers for diving".
