The Three Wise Men from the East have been divided this Tuesday morning between Calle Real in Arrecife and the Deiland Shopping Center in Playa Honda to continue collecting hope for the neediest children on the Island.

Throughout the day, until eight in the afternoon, volunteers from the Lanzarote Red Cross are collaborating in the toy collection campaign, dressing up as Wise Men to not only take some gifts for those most in need, but also to spread hope among the children who accompany their parents in delivering a small portion of much hope for hundreds of children across the Island.

The collection of toys and clothes will continue on Wednesday, but only at Deiland, continuing with the initiative that began a few days ago with the Solidarity Portal set up at the Arrecife Gymnastics Festival.

The gifts will be distributed among their recipients starting next January 6th, Three Kings Day. This will be done through the Social Affairs departments of each of the municipalities on the Island.

On the other hand, the toys that are left over in Lanzarote will be sent by the Red Cross to the African continent.
