The Tanit Museum of San Bartolomé hosted last Friday the presentation of the book "José Ferrer Martín, A common man, truly extraordinary 1904 - 1976" The event began with the reading of the prologue by Mª Jesús Ferrer Quintana, granddaughter of Ferrer Martín, to later give the floor to her father, José Ferrer Perdomo. Ferrer related "how his father's life had been full of very interesting events from his birth in the Casa del Mayor Guerra until his death".

The public that filled the auditorium was able to see a series of photos and documents which were presented through a video. Once the presentation was over, the performance of the touch group of the Guadarfía folklore group directed by Tito Perera took place. Group that performed Mazurka, Folía and Isa. Following this, the folklorist and neighbor of San Bartolomé Fefo García participated, who improvised a tenth in honor of Ferrer Martín. The event ended with the signing of the book that each of the attendees was able to take home completely free, courtesy of the management of the Tanit museum.
