The students of the Toñín Corujo music school offered their traditional Christmas concert, which was held at the Agustín de la Hoz House of Culture last Saturday morning.
The venue was completely overwhelmed by the attendance of family members who enthusiastically came to support the young talents who set the bar very high, demonstrating that there is a pool of talent to guarantee the musical future. The event was presented by Lucas González, a timple student, who with great confidence and charm won the admiration of the public.
The concert had a Christmas repertoire and featured the participation of all the students covering the different music classrooms such as timple, guitar, piano and voice under the supervision of Toñin Corujo. Each of the teachers accompanied their students in their performances, far exceeding each performance, which were rewarded by the public who supported them from beginning to end.
Traditional songs such as Jingles Bells, Silent Night, Adeste Fidele, La Cunita, Burrito Sabanero, etc. were played in the concert. Family members and students enjoyed a concert that at this time of year becomes the bridge of union between families.
