The Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, is in Lanzarote enjoying a few days of vacation on the island. Specifically, as La Voz has learned, the politician landed on the island on July 19 and this Friday will be the end of the week of rest on the volcanic island.
The European leader has stayed at the Club La Santa sports complex, where she has dedicated herself to getting in shape, a place where elite athletes go to do their training, as in the case of Fernando Alonso.
She is not the first European leader to choose Lanzarote to spend her holidays. The island has been a destination chosen by different political figures such as the former president and president of Spain, José Luis Rodrguez Zapatero and Pedro Schez, as well as the British politician David Cameron, and the German chancellor Olaf Scholz, who was on the island last Christmas, among others
