The first Playa Honda market, held on Saturday, March 13, was a great success in terms of participation due to the total number of stalls and visits received," according to the San Bartolomé City Council.

A total of 47 stalls were installed in this market, which included various second-hand items, souvenirs and handicrafts from jewelry, natural soaps, aloe vera products, perfumes, plants, lamps, watercolor paintings, leather, glass with the old Tiffany technique, sand paintings, etc.

The stalls extended from Princesa Ico street to Cordel street, also featuring mime performances, flamenco by Al-Andalus and Oripandó, Canarian folklore performance by Guadarfía, hip-hop and bagpipe performances. The Department of Tourism set up a stand for the occasion with information on the main tourist attractions of the municipality.

With this market, which will be held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, the San Bartolomé City Council aims to promote and activate the commercial and recreational activity of the town of Playa Honda, while promoting it touristically.
