Dressed in traditional costumes, carts and instruments, the residents of San Bartolomé paid tribute to the patron saint who gives his name to their town. As every year, the route began from the vicinity of the Football Field to the door of the Church, passing, in this way, through various streets of the town.
Neighbors and tourists participated in this traditional pilgrimage that, like every year, concentrates hundreds of people. The carts, increasingly decorated, carried inside both the pilgrims and the offerings they took to the saint. As in other editions, the products of the land and food were the most numerous.
Upon arriving at the Church, San Bartolomé waited for the pilgrims to receive the offerings. In this way, each cart deposited the products they carried at the feet of the saint, while the fourteen folklore groups, including one from Tenerife and another from Majorera who had been invited to the pilgrimage, presented San Bartolomé with the best song from their repertoire.
At the end of the offerings, the rhythms did not stop sounding through the streets of the town, as the orchestra "Grupo Luna" enlivened the day in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento until one in the morning, when a dj's took over in the Parque Rodríguez de la Fuente until late at night.
