Raíces y Los Parranderos took their music to the festivities in honor of Our Lady of Los Dolores and managed to fill the Mancha Blanca square this Monday, with a concert that began at 8:30 p.m. The first to take the stage was Raíces, who presented their musical "From the Plant to the Root".
This group displayed a whole range of songs that have marked the panorama of Canarian music in recent times. During their performance, a pair of dancers, composed of José Carlos Roger and Cirenia Herrera, participated, which the public liked very much. Raíces finished their concert with some cheerful rumbas.
Later, it was the turn of Los Parranderos, who began their performance with a cheerful medley of running isas, which the public accompanied by singing the choruses. Los Parranderos also had guest solo friends, such as Fabiola Fernández, Almudena Hernández and Orlando Niz, among others.
Juanma Padrón, musical director of Los Parranderos, also presented the public with some songs and with an encore, at the request of the attendees.
