The funeral chapel to say goodbye to the mayor of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera Lemes, has been installed, according to his family, in the Municipal Theater.
It will remain open from 9:00 p.m. this Monday until this Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at 4:30 p.m. in the church of San Bartolomé. Later the burial will take place in the "strictest privacy".
From the City Council they point out that "people who wish to pay their respects to the mayor can do so in this municipal space whose characteristics adapt to COVID protocols, in addition to being the most suitable to ensure the orderly and controlled influx of people and, also, due to its location in the same town hall square".
The Council thanks the numerous expressions of condolences that are arriving from individuals, associative fabric and entities.
