The Civil Guard of the Costa Teguise Company held the events to commemorate its Patron Saint, the Virgen del Pilar, this Thursday, October 12.
First, the religious ceremony took place in the Ermita de los Dolores in the town of Mancha Blanca in the municipality of Tinajo. Later, the military parade was held in the cultural complex of the town.
An event that was attended by the vice president of the Cabildo, Jacobo Medina, the mayors of Tías, Pepe Juan Cruz Saavedra, Teguise, Olivia Duque, the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, the mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, the mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez and the mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba. In addition, it was attended by other councilors of the Cabildo and councilors of various consistories.
In addition, 6 decorations have been awarded to personnel of the body, distributed in 4 Crosses of Merit with white badge and 2 Crosses for constancy in service.
