Lanzarote bears the unmistakable mark of the multidisciplinary artist César Manrique. His works are an essential part of the wealth that the island holds for the tourist who visits it. Now the students of the University School of Tourism of Lanzarote have the opportunity to learn about the public works of art by César Manrique on the island through the monographic course "César Manrique. Public work" that the FCM Pedagogical Department has organized for January 16, 17, 18 and 19.

The course, which will be held between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in Manrique's old studio in Arrecife, in front of El Almacén, aims to train didactic monitors in the knowledge of César Manrique's spatial interventions in Lanzarote, with which they can also carry out work to support the various educational programs that the FCM Pedagogical Department develops throughout the academic year.

The monograph is specially designed for students of the Lanzarote School of Tourism, who will obtain 1.5 credits of free configuration for the 15 hours of course load, which about 40 students will attend.
