Teaching children the techniques of agriculture from before as well as the way of life. This is the objective of the initiative proposed by the Order of the Canarian Puppy and that from January will materialize thanks to an agreement signed with the Cabildo through its Education and Culture area.
The activity will consist of a visit by a technician from the Island Corporation to the educational center where they will provide students with educational material. The next day, two groups of 30 students will visit the El Patio Museum where they will also have the opportunity to visit the Cueva Majo.
This project is possible thanks to the signing of an agreement between the Cabildo, through its Education and Culture area, and the Order of the Canarian Puppy. Thus, the councilor of the branch, Ángeles García, highlighted that the initiative can already be described as a success due to the large number of educational centers that have already requested to participate in it.
For their part, both the president of the First Institution, Inés Rojas, and the head of the Order of the Canarian Puppy, Marcial Morales, highlighted the importance of this activity.
