The Department of Festivities of the Arrecife City Council, headed by Víctor Sanginés, presented the draft program for the San Ginés 2008 festivities last Thursday. The event took place in the assembly hall of the Municipal Historical Archive and was attended by the Councilor for Festivities, Víctor Sanginés, the Councilor for Sports, Fayna Álamo, the Festivities Technician, José Nieves, and the Sports Coordinator, José Montelongo.

Although the events have not yet been reflected in an official and elaborate program, it is already known that Sham Dayaram Idnani, a resident of the island of Indian origin, will be the town crier at these festivities.

The council will soon offer the complete program with the festive activities announced on its [website->http://www.arrecife.es/], once the preparations are completed and the festival brochures-agenda are finally published. The town hall points out that the programs will be available to the public from next Monday, August 4.
